“Allah Almighty has frequently mentioned the rights of parents in the Noble Quran. Similarly, Children also have certain rights upon their parents, among which is the right to provide them with proper upbringing.”
Therefore, Allah Almighty says:
يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا ( التحریم 6)
Translation: O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from the fire.
And in the blessed hadith, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
أأَلَا كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِه (صحیح بخاری 7138)
Translation: Each one of you is a guardian, and each one will be questioned about his subjects.
